What Can You Learn From Christian Living by Kim Gow

The family of today that practice Christian beliefs in their home is the family that is at peace. In a time that you hear about a crisis every day on the news and murders happening all over the place, the need for firm Christian values has never been so strong. What can you learn from Christian living?

Are you worried about your children getting into trouble? Have you already had calls from your child’s school about problems he or she may be having? Does your family pray together each day? If not, then now is the time to start. God has the power to bring your children closer to you and will give you the knowledge to teach them how to be good students and citizens. When your child knows that there is someone to depend on that is all-powerful, you will be astounded at the change in them.

Raising your family by the guidelines set out by God is the only way to a truly peaceful and happy existence. The lack of this kind of living today is why the world seems so strange to many of us. There was a time that everyone on the same street knew each other and helped one another. Today, people are complete strangers. It seems that cries for help are not heard by those standing in close proximity of those cries.

If everyone lived a true Christian life, the world would be a glorious place. Imagine if everyone got along and there was never such a thing as racism. Imagine if there was no such thing as a crime rate. Imagine for those out there that are homeless never feeling scared or hungry again. This is the kind of world God would like for us, but thanks to the power of evil, many of us have strayed from what is decent and good.

Christian living is a way of life that gives us the power to be all we can be. No one can reach their true full potential without God. What are you doing to live the life of a Christian?God speaks to us in the signs he sends. What is God asking of you when you see that homeless man begging for a bite of food? What is he asking of you when you know your neighbor is in need? These are the times that you need to open your heart and listen.
